This cycling and e-bike adventure in Murten takes you across the unending vastness of the Grand Marais region and through fascinating riverscapes, along the natural lake shores and into historic towns such as Murten or Erlach. The route mostly follows paths that are free from traffic and offers something for the whole family. There is also a range of culinary options to suit every taste: picturesque picnic spots, seafood restaurants or gourmet eateries.

Information and tips

	Route: Murten - Ins - Thielle - Erlach - Hagneck - Kerzers – Murten
	Distance: 54 kilometres, travel time approx. 3 to 4 hours. Grade: easy.
	Signposts: Veloland no. 5, no. 8, no. 44 and no. 59.
	Alternative route: You also have the option of taking a round-trip around Lake Murten lake (30 km)
	Surcharge applies for reservation of electric bikes (enquire when purchasing ticket).
	minimum age for use of electric bikes is 16 (or for holders of a moped licence, 14).
