Tropic House Frutigen
Enjoy - discover - understand
Immerse yourself in tropical paradise at the foot of the Bernese alpine peaks. The Tropical House Frutigen is an attractive excursion destination in the Bernese Oberland region. For here the exhaust heat from the Lötschberg base tunnel is used to breed fish and plants that thrive in warm environments. Discover the first alpine sturgeon and caviar farm and be amazed by the myriad exotic fruits, spices and plants that you will find on a tour of the greenhouses. You can enjoy the fresh home-grown delicacies in two on-site restaurants.

Tuesdays - Saturdays, from 18.00 - 23.00 hours
Sundays 12.00 - 14.00 hours and from 18.00 - 22.00 hours

By rail to Frutigen, then 10 minutes’ walk from Frutigen Railway Station.
