Cycle and e-bike rental

Information on the locations and

rental opening hours

Rental bikes are available for young and old, for athletes and casual riders. You can rent various cycle types and e-bikes at 22 stations in the BLS area.

Reservations for individuals, groups and schools

Advance reservation of bikes by telephone at all manned stations is generally advisable. Schools and groups of more than ten persons should make a reservation at least three days, before the start of the rental.

How to get your bike

You obtain your rental contract at the railway ticket office or luggage counter. Please provide your ID card, Half-Fare travelcard, GA travelcard or credit card as a means of identification.

For your safety

We lend out Suva helmets with hygiene insert free of charge to increase your safety.

Families travel cheaper

Child seats are available free of charge at all rental locations. The Junior Card entitles children up to 15.99 years of age to a 50 per cent discount (based on the normal tariff), provided at least one adult rents a cycle.

You can even carry the bike on the train

If you can’t ride any further, you can take your bike along with you on the train without buying a cycle ticket. Applies only to rental cycles from stations.

How to return your bike

Bikes rented at the station may be returned to any rental station. Check the opening hours in advance. In the case of groups, the choice of return location is restricted.
