Switzerland's first S-Bahn crèche
With the crèche in Berne Main Railway Station, BLS and RBS provide a unique and innovative service: while parents go about their business in the city, their offspring can have an exciting time in the Children's Railway Station, where they are looked after by qualified professionals from Berne's Smallworld Crèche Service.
Come on in, boys and girls
The crèche caters for girls and boys aged 2-8 during a visit of a maximum of three hours. Advance registration is unnecessary; the most important information is recorded on a customer card on site. Parents without mobile phones of their own are provided with one by Swisscom for the duration so that they can always be reached while their children are at the cr่che. Parents who are travelling by public transport get an additional bonus: simply show your travel card, season ticket, multiple-fare card or individual ticket, and profit from reduced crèche rates.
Prices
With public transport ticket:
1st hour, CHF 8.00 / 2nd and 3rd hours, CHF 6.00 each
Without public transport ticket:
1st hour, CHF 10.00 / 2nd and 3rd hours, CHF 8.00 each
Mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are provided against a small charge. Free tea and fruit drinks are available for the children at all times.

Mondays to Fridays: 9.00-18.30 hours
Saturdays: 10.00-16.30 hours
