Liability insurance

BLS AG's liability for any damage to motor vehicles to be transported is limited to the extent provided by Art. 27 of the Swiss Federal Law on Public Transport and Art. 76 of the Ordinance on Public Transport.

Note: any cases of damage must be reported immediately to the car transport station at which you leave the train. Keep your ticket during the journey – it will serve as evidence of insurance.

In an emergency:

- Stay calm.

Never apply the emergency brake in the tunnel.

The trains is accompanied by qualified personnel. It is imperative that you comply with their instructions.

In principle, the train must always leave the tunnel.
For this reason, never apply the emergency brake. Never leave the train unless instructed by the railway personnel.

Set your radio to 88.2 MHz (DRS 1).

The tunnel is equipped with emergency lighting. Should you be forced to leave the train, push the button near a light-emitting diode.

In an emergency, escape in the direction indicated on the path by the tunnel wall. There is a handrail to support you.

Never touch any overhead lines that are hanging down.
